Flip is FLIPPING!!!! Memorial Day Plans!!!

Today has been a very interesting day!!! I got up around 8:30am eat a bowl of cereal, tried to go back to sleep afterwards, but no such luck! SO I just laid in my bed all comfy till the dogs needed to pee. Then I got out of bed around 11ish and ate some leftover pizza from dinner last night! After eating what I could "Flip" started flipping around and banging on my tummy lol, it feels like gas bubbles not so much kicking or banging but then when he FLIPS it is like massive butterflies! It looks like we are going to have a very active child when he finally gets here!!!! YaY US!!! Or maybe just maybe he will get it all out of his system now?!?!?!?!?!
I am pretty excited to have a 4 day weekend, I only work 2 hours today at the pool but then have 4 games tonight, then bring on the weekend!!!! Friday is an us day, Saturday we are BBQ'n with my Parents, Sunday is an us day again, and Monday we are BBQ'n and fishing up Red Creek with Jeff's Family!!! I hope it is nice cause I need some SUN on my fat white belly!!!! Speaking of which My dear friend Amanda really thinks she wants to see my belly....Jeff sent her a pic yesterday, but if I get around to it MAYBE tomorrow I will post a few for all to see :] Much Love >.<

More crafty..Plus an Update!

OK so last week I promised an update after our Dr. visit and also pics of the diaper bag!!! Here we go!!!

So this is the diaper bag, slightly more challenging than I expected, but I did it!!!! I am freaking proud of myself and think if I do another one I will go with a little bit simpler one lol!!!!!!!
20 weeks.....I am officially half way!!!! So on Saturday night I got a pain in my left lower abdomen/side area it was like a knife stabbing me pain, I pushed on it a little so if it was baby he would move and it would go away, no such luck. The pain continued all night then off and on all day Sunday, Monday morning was our Dr. appointment so I decided to ask the Dr. what it was.. He was a little concerned so he had me do a blood test and a urine test (which totally sucked cause I had already went pee in one cup 10 min earlier) he also did a quick ultrasound to see if I had any problems on my ovary’s, the ultrasound was fine no problems and the plus we got to see baby moving all around again!!! I am still waiting to here back on the test results, but the pain in now more hit and miss so whatever!!! On the plus side I gained 5 pounds, my blood pressure is great, my fundal height it right on, and the baby has a strong healthy heartbeat!!! We have our next appointment the 27th of June so another 5 weeks!!! It is crazy how time flies; I can't believe June is right around the corner!!! I would also like to give a little shout out to my Hubby!! He is so Amazing, he come with me to every appointment, he holds my hand when they poke me with needles, and even makes fun of me to make me feel better. Plus he is so patient with me and is always comforting me and getting me whatever I need/ want!! Last night he said to me "babe, everyone was saying that when you got pregnant you would get all bitchy and mean, but you haven't! You are still playful and nice!!!!" lol I told him it was because he was sweet to me and kept me happy!!! I love my Hubby so much, he is the best ever!!!! Much Love >.<

Crafty?!?!?

Well if you know me, you know that if I want to do something I am going to do it, regardless of my know how!!!! So It was rainy and cold today and I had the day off so I decided to go do a little shopping...... I am pretty excited for the baby and really I just want to make cute stuff!!!! So, off I go to Wal-Mart to look at some fabric, they don't have a lot but luckily we have a Joann's now!!! $65 later I got home and I attempted to make a car seat canopy, with out any general idea of how or what I was doing baahahaha!!!! In my head I had a picture and so off I went; except I made a mistake or two!!! Here is the out come:



I failed to remember that the most important part of the car seat is the handle and when I made the holes for my ribbon I put them smack dab in the middle...O well it looks cute any way!!! So here is what I figure, I can use the ribbon as a handle or just pick it up with the blanket as is!!!!!

I seemed to have forgot all those basic skills we were taught in the sewing class back in high school, o well it's like riding a bike right you never really forget!!! ha ha I will be making more so I decided to look at a few blogs that have some simple to follow patterns for next time (after the fact lol)!!!! Also I got this really cute "easy" to make diaper bag...When I get around to that I will be sure to post more pics!!!!! I am super excited for my Baby Boy, But I am trying to stay with "gender neutral" colors like greens and browns and yellows!!! YaY for baby!!!! Much Love >.<

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!!!

Yesterday May 17, 2011 I turned 24!!!!!! What a Crazy Amazing day it was!! On Monday I worked and when I got there, this was waiting for me:

On Tuesday I woke up had some breakfast with the hubby got ready for the day and then we went to our ultrasound appointment with the baby Dr.!!!! I was so EXCITED and Nervous at the same time!!! We got in there I got on the table lifted up my shirt and away we went, I was excited that the lotion/oil stuff was warm! The tech asked if we wanted to know what we where having and of course we said YES!!! So she started looking and  BAMM there it was:

That's our lil' Boy not shy at all!!!!! After that she took all kinds of measurements and checked different organs and made sure things were formed/ forming correctly!! All in all he is a healthy looking little boy weighing in at approx. 11oz and he has a strong heartbeat! We go back on Monday for our 20 week check up and the Dr. will go over the different things that were seen and explain them better!!! Update to come!

After the appointment the madness ensued!!! First we called our parents My mommy didn't answer so I called my Daddy, they were so excited I am pretty sure I heard a tear in my Daddy's voice!!!! Jeff had to call his Mom at school lol then his Dad they were both excited too!!! Next up the sisters, actually Tanya called Jeff because she couldn't wait anymore bahahaha I was trying to tell her we couldn't find out lol she knew better; of course she was so excited because she called it. Then I tried calling Cassie but she didn't answer. Next step Mass Text....or a few cause the limit it 10 lol!!! Then Facebook! My phone was going off for hours not just congrats but Happy Birthdays too!!!! We went to my work and told them, they were all excited too; Jeff called everyone he works with too! Then we went to Wal-Mart and bought our first outfit and some diapers then we had a nice lunch from panda came home and took a nap, well tried to but the phones wouldn't stop going off!! Then we woke up Jeff took me to get some Ice cream, it was super yummy! Then we went to softball and they had pizza waiting for me, so we ate some yummy pizza then Jeff played and won 15 to 11 then SUPRIZE my parents showed up with a big huge cake and presents!!! Jeff's whole team came up and sang to me and we had some cake, then they played again at 8:30 and won 26 to 5!!!! After softball my parents came over to see the puppies and we showed them the ultrasound video we got, they loved that!!!! Then they left and we went to bed!!! ALL IN ALL THE BEST BIRTHDAY EVER!!!!!! Thanks to all the friends and family for the Congrats and Happy Birthday Wishes!!!!! I can now share my little secret........The whole time I really wanted a BOY, but I knew if I said anything that I would get a lil girl, not a bad thing but girls are harder and stubborn and the first is always spoiled!!! ;O lol YaY for a little BOY!!!!!!!!

On a side note I woke up this morning and there is 2" of FREAKING SNOW outside! CRASH there goes the happiness of yesterday!!!! Much Love >.<

Update!

Okay I am slacking a little on the Blog!!! So here is a little run down I am 18 weeks and 4 days today. Since my last post in April I have stopped trowing up for the most part, only when I eat something baby doesn't like does it come back up; I have felt a few movements which are a little strange cause it feels like a really intense case of butterflies and there is a slight sickening feeling; I don't know if I have gained any weight or not but I have been able to eat more and keep it down since I'm not throwing up! Jeff and I have amazing friends and randomly they are finding things for baby, for example we have acquired a changing table, a bouncer, an extra car seat, we also have some other friends who have a crib, bouncer, and something else that is coming our way lol!!! Not to mention I found this way awesome crib that I love and I found the perfect stroller, you gotta get brand new stuff for the first baby ;)!!!! Plus we have a few clothes and things people have randomly bought the baby lol!!! A week from today is the big reveal, hopefully the baby is outgoing and not shy so then we can tell what "it" is!!!!!!!!! We have been busy busy busy with life, softball started in Cedar and Jeff plays Tuesday and umps Wednesday and Thursday, plus I score keep Thursday too, plus we are both working, plus it is kinda warm outside so we are getting the yard ready for our summertime FUN, then on top of that we are just planning for the baby!!!!!
Mother's Day was last week and it was a busy weekend, on Friday I worked the close shift and Jeff reffed a basketball tourney, then Saturday Jeff reffed somemore while I slept, then Jeff's mom graduated with her Master's degree so we went to support her, then Jeff went golfing with Kim and Anna and I hung out and played with Jesse, then we went to dinner with Kim and Anna, on Sunday we got up early and drove down to St. Geezy for the double whammy; it was Mother's day and My Mommys birthday so we took her out to breakfast it was way fun to hang out with her and she was so thankful we came down afterall I am her favorite ;), after breakfast we ran some errends then dropped them off at home so we could get back to Cedar to celebrate with Jeff's mom! It is way nice being so close to both sets of parents so then we can split the days and celebrate with both families!!!! After dinner with the Okeson's we headed over and had cake and ice cream for Kylee's birthday then it was home to bed casue I was worn out from our crazy busy weekend!!! I most likely won't post again till the 17th, another double whammy, My birthday and the big reveal (hopefully), Much love till then >.<
